She headed for her own side of the room. McCall stepped in front of her. |

"Where do you think you're going?" |

"I need to finish unpacking; then I'll go and get some food. I'm starving. Aren't you?" She didn't wait for an answer, but plunged ahead, trying to distract him from asking more questions she didn't know how to answer. "We should eat in our rooms as much as possible. Oh, and I need to call Captain Miller." |

When she moved to step around him McCall took a step in the same direction, blocking her path. |

"What?" She looked up at him impatiently. He smiled, and D.J. stopped breathing for a moment. His smile did funny things to her insides. |
